Why Consider the Optional Limited Damage Waiver?

Job sites are unpredictable.

Your surveillance system is one of the most valuable assets on your jobsite. Many of our pole camera systems represent an investment of up to $10,000 per unit and are professionally installed to maximize visibility while keeping the equipment as secure and out of harm’s way as practical. Even so, active jobsites are unpredictable.

Accidents happen. Forklifts and heavy equipment can strike trailers, vehicles can damage support poles, equipment can be hit by falling materials, or cameras and enclosures can be accidentally damaged during day-to-day operations. While our systems are built for demanding environments, unexpected incidents can still result in costly repairs or replacement.

For just 15% of the rental amount, our Optional Limited Damage Waiver (LDW) helps reduce your financial responsibility for covered accidental physical damage, providing added peace of mind and helping protect your budget from unexpected repair costs.

Coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the Rental Contract. LDW is not insurance and is not a warranty.

How Caprock’s Protection Plan Has You Covered

At Caprock Rentals, we offer an Optional Limited Damage Waiver (LDW) for 15% of the rental amount.

When elected, the LDW reduces your financial responsibility for covered accidental physical damage to eligible rental equipment during the rental period. Caprock Rentals will cover 95% of the first $10,000 in covered repair or replacement costs.

Examples:

If covered damage totals $1,000, LDW covers $950 and you pay $50.
If covered damage totals $10,000, LDW covers $9,500 and you pay $500.
If covered damage exceeds $10,000, LDW covers 95% of the first $10,000, and you are responsible for 5% of the first $10,000 plus all covered repair or replacement costs exceeding $10,000.

The LDW helps reduce your financial responsibility for covered accidental damage but does not cover all losses. It does not apply to equipment not covered by the LDW, theft or failure to return equipment, transportation-related damage, negligence, misuse or abuse, GPS or telematics systems, cords, batteries, glass, or other exclusions set forth in the Rental Contract.

The LDW is optional. Customers with qualifying property, physical damage, or inland marine insurance may decline the LDW.

LDW is not insurance and is not a warranty. It is a contractual limitation of liability subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the Rental Contract.
