Caprock Rentals was called in by a utility contractor working just outside of San Antonio to provide site security during infrastructure work for a new subdivision. With heavy machinery staged on-site and crews coming and going, the customer needed a reliable way to deter theft and keep an eye on their equipment around the clock.
We deployed one of our solar-powered surveillance skids — a fully self-contained system built for long-term remote use. The setup featured a tall mast, allowing our cameras to look out over large machinery and provide a clear line of sight across the entire site.
The system operated completely off-grid, with no need for external power or network infrastructure. This made it a perfect fit for the early stages of the project, when utilities hadn’t yet been brought in.
