unexpected damages
What could possibly go wrong?
Job sites are unpredictable.
From forklifts backing into trailers to paint overspray coating lenses, accidents happen fast—and often. Surveillance systems, acting as the first line of defense, are especially prone to vandalism, tampering, or careless damage. Whether it’s a smashed camera, cracked housing, or weather-related impact, unexpected damage can mean costly repairs or full replacements. That’s why we offer a simple way to protect your investment—and your budget.
REAL RISKS
Jobsite Reality Check
From stolen tail lights and careless paint overspray to shattered solar panels—accidents happen more often than you think.
How Caprock’s Protection Plan Has You Covered
At Caprock Rentals, we offer an Optional Limited Damage Waiver (LDW) for 15% of the rental amount.
When elected, the LDW reduces your financial responsibility for accidental damage to covered equipment during the rental period. Caprock will cover 95% of the cost to repair or replace the equipment, up to a maximum of $10,000 per occurrence.
Your total responsibility for covered damage will not exceed $1,500 per occurrence.
Examples:
If damage totals $1,000, LDW covers $950 and you pay $50.
If damage totals $10,000, LDW covers $9,500 and you pay $500.
If damage exceeds $10,000, LDW covers 95% of the first $10,000, and your total out-of-pocket cost remains capped at $1,500.
The LDW helps reduce your out-of-pocket exposure but does not cover all situations. It does not apply to misuse, theft without a police report, acts of God (such as floods, storms, or fires), transportation-related damage, GPS systems, or other excluded items. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
LDW is optional. Customers with their own qualifying insurance coverage may decline.
LDW is not insurance or a warranty; it is a contractual limitation of liability designed to provide added financial protection during your rental period.
