Caprock Rentals was called to secure a contractor’s equipment on a land-clearing site in New Braunfels, Texas, where the customer had been experiencing frequent diesel theft from their machinery. The challenge was heightened by the lack of fencing and constant pedestrian traffic, as the area was being cleared for future development.
We deployed our advanced surveillance systems on-site, allowing the customer to strategically park their equipment around the cameras, maximizing coverage and security. With the placement of our high-definition cameras, the site saw an immediate deterrence of theft, and no further incidents occurred.
Given the site’s open nature, we worked closely with our 5 Diamond Certified central monitoring station to identify suspicious activities, paying special attention to potential risks unique to this kind of development area. Our systems were further enhanced with talk-down speaker capabilities, which allowed real-time intervention to warn off potential trespassers and would-be thieves.
