Caprock Rentals delivered multiple solar-powered surveillance trailers to a large wind farm project spread across a 50-square-mile radius in South Texas. The sheer size of the site required comprehensive security and monitoring, which we achieved through the deployment of several units strategically positioned to cover the entire area. In addition to providing high-level security, these trailers were used by the customer to monitor construction progress during daylight hours, offering real-time insights into the project’s development.
To ensure consistent and reliable connectivity over such a vast expanse, we utilized different cellular carriers for each trailer, optimizing network performance based on the specific location. This approach guaranteed that every system maintained the best possible connection, allowing uninterrupted data transmission to our 5 Diamond Certified central station. With 24/7 monitoring, AI-powered detection, and talk-down speaker capabilities, we ensured that the site was both secure and easily monitored from anywhere.
This project demonstrated our ability to adapt and customize surveillance solutions to meet the unique challenges posed by large-scale renewable energy developments, providing both security and operational oversight.
