At Caprock Rentals, our Optional Limited Damage Waiver (LDW) costs 15% of the rental amount. This waiver covers 80% of the cost to repair or replace covered items, up to $10,000. You are responsible for the remaining 20%. For example, if a rental item incurs $1,000 in damages, the LDW will cover $800, and you’ll pay $200. If the damage costs $18,000, the LDW covers $8,000 (80% of the first $10,000), and you’ll pay the rest.

The LDW helps reduce your out-of-pocket expenses if something happens to the rented equipment. However, it doesn’t cover all items, transportation-related damages, GPS systems, or costs over $10,000. If you have your own insurance, you can decline the LDW, but the LDW remains the primary coverage we offer.

Please remember, the LDW is not insurance or a warranty, but it does provide some protection and peace of mind during your rental period.
